Gender and the AP .. and a Lesson on Visualizing Data

Barbara Ericson has recently studied the test taking patterns for AP Exams in various disciplines in terms of number of taker and gender, see this article by Brian A. Danielak which adjusts the visualization of the data to really see not only the gender issue(s), but the dearth of test takers in AP CS Exams taken (boding dimply for the future ...).  In other words, it seems we need more computing students, including women (and minorities, people with disabilities, ...).
